An update from me, including our new baby, business and Dodge Sprinter Van that we’re set to convert. Also, here I detail what my current work entails and how to connect with me and the new business, Ownstream – particularly if you’re interested in coaching etc. Check it out!
For many years, I have been fascinated by ritual – and none moreso than the Vision Quest.
Largely lost in the modern age, the vision quest is an ancient rite whereby a young, adolescent male goes into nature for a set period of time and returns an adult, a man. Having fended for himself, contacted nature in a direct way and opened to himself and the universe, he is ready for adulthood and the responsibility this carries.
At no point in our history do we need rites such as vision quests moreso than now and Dennis Kiley and Rob Schene (amongst others) seek to fill that void.
Peter Scott had a tough choice to make…stay with his alcoholic mother and continue living in chaos and fear. Or, confront her about her drinking and move in with his grandparents.
Seems like an obvious, though difficult, choice to make, no?
Peter however had to make this decision when he was 10 years old…
…and he did make that choice, and forever altered the path his life would follow.
There is a crisis in manhood, and Stephen Mansfield is one of the most outspoken and eloquent voices talking about it. We have lost our way, and Stephen has made a map for how we can get back on track.
I was first made aware of Stephen Mansfield a few years ago when he released his terrific “Mansfield’s Book of Manly Men”. We discuss his “4 tenets of masculinity” & more on this episode of the Lifestyle Arts Podcast.
It’s nearly 2016, which means it’s the time when many of us take a wider, more objective view of our lives and consider what we want to accomplish in the next year.
In other words – time for New Year’s Resolutions.
For many of us though, these intentions will never reach fruition. Many people can’t even remember their own resolutions by February 1st!
So…why is this?
Freedom – it’s what we all desire more of.
Whether it’s freedom of choice with women, freedom from fear or hesitation, financial freedom or the freedom to be fully myself in any situation – it’s all about freedom.
Wanting more and more of this is healthy and good, and it a very common motivation for us men. So, what IS then a path to finding more freedom in my life?
There are few things which have as much power in our lives as gratitude…
…AND, there are few skills (or tools) that are more attractive than gratitude too.
When we practice gratitude, we claim ownership and responsibility over our internal state. And, this ability is the essence of security or the “being” of attraction.
Learning how to be more attractive to women is a path & a journey, NOT a one-off action or something that a long weekend or “bootcamp” will resolve.
Being attractive to women is the result of consistent, daily actions which transform you into the most attractive version of yourself.
In other words, attractiveness is a habit.
I have worked with over 1000 men as a dating coach, and while each guy is unique and different, amazingly, many share the exact same challenges with women and dating. In this podcast I discuss these 3 harmful patterns, why they exist and what any man can do about reversing these to find more success.
If you know in your gut that something is “off” about your dating life and you can’t exactly pinpoint where or what…then this podcast is an absolute must listen for you.
“Do what scares you”, “If you can’t you must”, “Fail fast and fail often”, “What one man can do any man can do”.
These are just a few of the powerful soundbites I was able to type during my interview with Mike Hrostoski.
In this interview, you are going to hear about his breathtaking path to success, his remarkable turning point which simultaneously blended both heartbreak and inspiration and his remarkable new “school” designed to help other men achieve more power, love and freedom in life.
